The day we finally met in real life! Our first date was at Mood Tapas located in downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Our first hike together was Raspberry Mountain near Divide, Colorado.

Spens was promoted to Captain in the United States Army and Holly finally met his parents!

We continued to enjoy our time together in Colorado. We camped in the Elk Mountains near Aspen and went hiking at the Maroon Bells.

Spens visited Philip, South Dakota to meet Holly's parents and three older brothers! We also toured through Badlands National Park and Custer State Park.

Holly joined the Cook's on their family vacation to Jackson Hole, Wyoming where she finally met Spens' sister!

1 YEAR DATING ANNIVERSARY! We celebrated together in North Bethesda, Maryland and also explored Washington D.C.

Holly experienced her first Thanksgiving weekend with the Cook Family in New Jersey and New York City.

Holly and Spens bought a Costco membership together!

Work brought Spens to Houston, Texas in December of 2022, and Holly eventually left Colorado to be with him.

Spens and his father showed Holly around Chicago and Spens’ hometown, Lake Forest, Illinois for the first time.

Spens helped Holly learn to ski while vacationing with the Cook's on their annual Breckenridge ski trip.

Spens surprised Holly and proposed in New Orleans, Louisiana. She of course said YES!!!!

We celebrated our engagement with beignets at Cafe Du Monde. The following day we called our families to share the exciting news and immediately found a wedding planner!
